Eight Second Review: Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s DON JON

DON JON Review

Because I had fun putting together a video review of Ron Howard’s Rush, I decided to do a slightly longer one of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Don Jon. I’m probably going to keep doing them for a while in order to catch up one all the movies I saw last year. Let me know what you think, so I can try to improve a bit more with each video review!

Written and Directed by: Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Brie Larson

Summary: New Jersey lothario Jon (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) can bed a new woman each night, yet none of his one-night stands compare to the satisfaction he gets from watching porn. All that changes when he meets Barbara (Scarlett Johansson), who doesn’t fall for any of his usual tricks. Barbara knows exactly what she wants, and she’s going to make Jon work for it. Plus, she won’t put up with his penchant for watching porn. Jon’s forced to make a tough choice: give up his dirty videos or lose Barbara for good. However for him, the decision isn’t quite so clear cut.
