“Spoilerpiece Theatre” is a weekly movie podcast where I talk about new releases with fellow BOFCA critics Dave Riedel and Kris Jenson. We don’t give a shit about spoilers. We just want to talk about the movies.

In Episode 27 below, we offer our thoughts on Michael Mann’s Blackhat and Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. I got angry about a few things in Blackhat, even though I ultimately liked it. Dave didn’t even know it was a Michael Man movie until five minutes before the screening. Plus, Kris has the best line of the night in his one-sentence description of Chris Hemsworth’s character in Blackhat. Anyway, there are plentiful tangents, and we also wanted to say thank you for listening! Episode 26 was our most downloaded yet.

Hello! My name is Evan Crean. By day I work for a marketing agency, but by night, I’m a film critic based in Boston, MA.
