“Spoilerpiece Theatre” is a weekly movie podcast where I talk about new releases with fellow BOFCA critics Dave Riedel and Kris Jenson. We don’t give a shit about spoilers. We just want to talk about the movies.

Episode 37 is a good day to die on Spoilerpiece as we discuss Get Hard and The Boston Underground Film Festival. We spend some time wondering what a phone call from Liam Neeson would be like. Then we delve into the odd comic sensibilities of Get Hard, and I bring a deeper level of consideration to it than Dave and Kris thought possible. Kris gives everyone the lowdown on the Boston Underground Film Festival, which, as of publication, is still going on (it concludes March 29). Plus, there’s a great story about Udo Kier.

Hello! My name is Evan Crean. By day I work for a marketing agency, but by night, I’m a film critic based in Boston, MA. Since 2009, I have written hundreds of movie reviews and celebrity interviews for Starpulse.com. I have also contributed pieces to NewEnglandFilm.com and to The Independent, as a writer and editor.
