Relive Your Summer Nights At “Adventureland”
Often our most life-changing moments seem to pass in the blink of an eye without a chance for us to even grasp them. James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg) experiences this phenomenon at the beginning of “Adventureland.”
James is dumped by his girlfriend, graduates from college, leaves his friends, and has a celebratory meal with his parents all in a few brief moments of screen time. His plans for life after college come to a screeching halt, when James discovers his parents no longer have the money to pay for the trip to Europe he has been planning.
